Free World Fantasy

Free world fantasy was commissioned by the Dutch province of Groningen for its day of independence in 1987. The composition aims to portray one very specific dream – the dream of a world free from war. This is Jacob de Haan’s first composition in which he combines concert music with pop music. The resulting style is very reminiscent of film music.
