Cornfield Rock

Cornfield Rock is based on the poem “It was a lover and his lass” by William Shakespeare, to which Jacob de Haan composed the music. The work is called Cornfield Rock, because the cornfield is the backdrop to this poem and because it is composed in rock style.

As patron of the famous Wind Band Festival in Bad Orb (Germany), Jacob de Haan conducts this work every time with more than 1000 musicians on the square in this city.
